COUSIN (2nd Gen.) SPOTLIGHT
Richard Burd
Aside from being one of the senior members of the 2nd Gen Cousins (second only to Joe Gaudiello), Richard is one of the hardest working men around. A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University in Agronomy, he has leveraged his education, experience, courage, and determination into a successful grain business. Richard reports that “You can make a small fortune in farming, if You start with a large fortune.” Richard has always been known for his dry wit and good-natured humor. Get to know him. He’s a great guy.
Richard lives with his wife, Natalie (an equally amazing and hard-working cousin), on the family farm, which he bought from his father, Paul Burd. Richard’s Mama was Rose (Galla) Burd, fifth child and first daughter of Luigi and Felice Gaudiello/Galla.

Jimmy Galla
Jimmy is one of the senior members of the 3rd Generation, and also one of the newest additions to the known famiglia. He’s a great guy, so we need to get to know him better. And hey, he’s a chimney sweep, so we know that’s good luck! Thankfully, ”Little Jimmy” has been returned to us, and he attended the Cousins Reunited event in July 2023.
Jimmy (Little Jimmy) Galla is the only son of Jimmy (medium Jimmy?) Galla, who was the only son of Jim (Big Jim) Galla, fourth son of Luigi and Felice.
